Jason J. Dumbreck is the Vice President of the Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Unit operating out of the Southwestern Division’s Head Office, in Waterloo , Ontario . Mr. Dumbreck has accumulated twelve (12) years of industry experience with all aspects of investigation and investigative administration.

Mr. Dumbreck manages a Specialist Unit that conducts and administers the investigation of intellectual property crimes for a host of domestic and foreign brand owners. The Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Unit practices client risk mitigation through investigative due diligence pertaining to the use of trademarks. Jason also specializes in Online Trademark and Property Infringement Investigations that span worldwide.

Mr. Dumbreck recently designed and wrote a King-Reed Proprietary Threat Assessment Tool utilized to assess a multitude of web based threats intent on corrupting a brand owner’s revenue stream.

Mr. Dumbreck has successfully generated the evidence required by a multitude of clients to obtain civil action remedy through use of an Anton Pillar Order and subsequent litigation. Mr. Dumbreck has worked closely with Provincial and Federal Law Enforcement to ensure successful remedy for King-Reed clients who choose a criminal action over civil remedy.

Jason ’s focus on Internet Investigations, Covert Computer Monitoring, and Internet Profiling has provided for the basis of evidence collection for several multinational Satellite Broadcast Companies and Entertainment Software Companies.

Jason is a graduate of the Law and Security Administration Program at Conestoga College , in Kitchener , Ontario . Jason continues his professional development as an associate member to the Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), a member of the Council of Private Investigators of Ontario (CPIO), attending seminars by the International Trademark Association, and the Council of the International Investigators. Jason has completed a multitude of investigations related to piracy and corporate fraud throughout North America and is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).
